About 40 of us boarded the Barbara J Cruise last month for a beautiful ride around Conneaut Lake.

Capt. Jack Slater did an excellent job in his narration of the history and we had a delicious stuffed chicken breast dinner.

We had gorgeous weather that night and enjoyed the night of socializing without worrying about have to do any work!

Bobbie Moyers, Jean Beachat and Carol Battles were in charge of the arrangements.

We are so appreciative of the efforts of the local businessmen who bonded together to save the boat for our community.

The Barbara J is available for charter rides and also has a Sunday breakfast and ride, which I’m told is delicious.
