The August meeting of the historical society was presented by Julia Catalano and Suzanne Luty, sisters who grew up spending summers at Conneaut Lake.  Using information from  their father's book, - The Lake As It Was by Bronson Luty and their own fond memories they led  listeners through the years of development of the lake as a resort and of the  Midway Beach community. For many of those listening to their presentation it was a time to recall their own Midway experiences,  especially for Kate Hilton who was able to add humor and a few historical corrections.

Midway Cottages are featured on the new note cards now on sale at the museum at 150 N. Second Street.
