Woolly Mammoth Unveiling
Museum Hours: |
School students collected their pennies and helped the historical society purchase a replica of a Woolly Mammoth, which once lived in Conneaut Lake. Students learned about the animal in classes and how the bones of such animals were found in 1958. A special unveiling ceremony was held at the museum following the Memorial Day program at Conneaut Lake and several students told what they learned.
