After waiting for several months, the replica of the state record Muskie caught at Conneaut Lake in 1924 arrived and was put on display by Dave Lynch. Lynch spearheaded a campaign to raise more than $800 to have the replica made.

It was caught by Lewis Walker of Meadville and still is the largest Muskie caught in Pennsylvania. It is more than 59 inches long and 54 pounds
