The Liberty the Second is a speedboat which capsized in 1922 and went to the bottom of Conneaut Lake, where it remained until 1985, when it was found and brought up to the surface. This Liberty the Second Commemorative Issue was published on the 25th anniversary of the raising. The book of 88 pages includes 58 pages of the history of the boat with copies of newspaper clippings, pictures and other items as well as 40 pages of advertising the local businesses in operation in 2010. It captures the spirit of the community as it worked to preserve the boat.
