Boardwalk Boards

As you may have heard by now,  Conneaut Lake Park is expanding the beach at the park and has taken up the old boardwalk.

Many of the boards were purchased by people and had inscriptions on them.

The park has given those 650 boards to the society and were are attempting to find the owners.

If you purchased a board, please contact us and we will get it for you.

You can contact us on our Facebook page: Conneaut Lake Area Historical Society and will check to see if we have it. If so, we will give you the number of the board.

You can come to the museum to pick it up or, if you don't want it,the society will keep it. Plans are to make some type of display with the unclaimed boards after two years.

Boards may be picked up on the following dates: Dec. 9, 23, 30,Dec. 1 and Dec.7. Hours are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. except on Dec. 1,when it is 2 to 5 p.m.

Further questions can be sent to our Facebook page as well.

Thanks for helping. We are happy to be able to get these boards to the rightful owners.

If you know of others who may have purchased boards, please pass the word!
